Setup (before guest arrives)

• Login on Riverside.fm
• Download Riverside app on both iPhones
• Position phone mounts/tripods where host and guest will sit
• Plug in iPhones

When guest arrives

• Both people: Open Riverside app on iPhones
• Both people: Click the invite link or enter studio code
• Both people: Grant camera and microphone permissions (will ask first time)
• Both people: Join the studio
• In the Riverside session:
• On desktop: Open Riverside.fm in browser, log in, enter same studio
• Check video: See both iPhone camera feeds on desktop screen
• Position phones: Adjust tripods so framing looks good for both people
• Check audio: Both people say something, watch audio meters move on desktop
• 9. Do test recording and see result

Make sure it’s not – Oh noooooooo!

• Battery – iPhones at 80%+ charge, or plugged in (recording drains fast)
• Storage – confirm 10GB+ free on each phone
• Internet – stable WiFi, not mobile data (uploads happen during recording)
• Notifications – turn on Do Not Disturb mode on both phones
• Auto-lock – disable screen auto-lock so phones don’t sleep mid-recording
• 30-second test recording – watch AND listen to playback
• Check framing on both cameras, check what’s behind each person and Clean it up
• Hit record, confirm both phones show «recording»
• Glance at phones every 10-15 minutes to verify still recording
